Breaking ground

On Monday night Matt and I drove out to the lot where our new house is going to be and it was cleared! No more grass, weeds, and scotch broom...just dirt. We've made that drive quite often just to see what's going on, but never expected for anything to actually be happening! Our builder told us 2 weeks ago that it would take about 4-6 weeks to get financing and permits in order for him to start the house. After we saw that the lot had been cleared, Matt called the builder to find out what this meant...he told us the foundation will be done next week! Yippee! We were a little nervous that our house was going to be done right around (or just after) the time our little girl would grace us with her presence, but it seems we may just have a new home to bring her home to! Or atleast that's what we're now hoping for. We'll keep you posted! Ü
