As you can see, a little bit of progress has been made since the last time I posted pics of our new house. The cement has been poured for the foundation, and now they're working on the sub-flooring. It's fun to see the progress, slow as it may be! We've been told that the construction process may take a little bit longer since we're planning on using Matt's VA loan...apparently the VA inspector's aren't as prompt as others, and seem to work on their own timeframe. Hopefully they don't hold things up too much. It's not like we have anything going on in a couple months or anything where we'd like to get our house finished! I'm envisioning signing closing papers on our way to the hospital, but what can you do?? We'll just have to wait and see...
I don't know if you can see him or not, but in the third picture Matt is standing off the back, right corner of the house...that's where our lot will end. It doesn't really look like it in the picture, but we are surprised at how much bigger the yard is going to be than what we originally thought. Now that we see the footprint of the house, it doesn't take up as much room as we thought it would. Plenty of room for a swingset and playhouse...and maybe a pool for Mom Ü
