I think it's finally hit me.
I spent the last 3 days doing 7 loads of laundry (our hamper is empty and all of the baby's clothes from NB to 0-3months are washed, folded or hung-up, and put away), vacuuming 2 of the 3 days (I love vacuum lines on the carpet Ü), scrubbing toilets, showers, bathtubs, sinks and vanities, mopping floors, organizing baby things, making dinner, and dusting. It felt great! It's so nice to sit down at the end of a long day and look around and see nothing to do...
...and then Matt lets the dogs in.

Yesterday evening Jessica and Grayson stopped by with a whole bunch of fun things for us! 2 beautiful bouquets of flowers, a "Preparing Fido" CD to get the dogs used to baby sounds, a cute little shirt for baby, and a bag of fresh-picked corn-on-the-cob! Grayson was adorable as always and very interested in the cows outside (he makes a really cute kind of snorting sound for "moo"). We had zucchini bread and talked about labor/delievery and babies. It's fun to hear people's stories...I'm getting really excited to have one of my own to share!

Oh yes....the infamous nesting phase! I had about 2 weeks off from work before Grayson was born so I had everything completely done and I actually got bored and even said that I was one day....then he came the next day! I was a super-nester too....things like roto-tilling the garden, etc absolutely had to be done! :) It was a little roto-tiller though...it wasn't really hard. It just funny though that I had to get that done. I think I figured that I had to get as much done as possible because once he came, all chaos would begin...and it did :)
