We made it!
Today marks a very important day for baby and I. We are now 37 weeks , which officially means we've made it to "full term!" This is exciting for a couple of reasons... One, and most importantly, if our baby was born today, she'd most likely be able to thrive just as well as a baby born at 40 weeks, with her lungs being fully developed and plenty of body fat to keep her warm. Two, being full term means that she's ready to be born, and could be at any time! At my last drs. appt (which was Wednesday) they checked for progress and so far there are no signs that indicate labor anytime too soon. Of course that can change quickly though, so we'll see what this week's appt brings. Matt's dad will be visiting for a few days next weekend, so Matt's crossing his fingers that she'll come out to meet her Grandpa Grube Ü Stay tuned!
