The last few days Taylor and I have been on our own for the first time. Matt left late morning yesterday to go down to California to meet with some customers and he won't be back until late tomorrow night. They flew out of Portland, and they're not due back into Portland until 10pm, so he may not be coming home tomorrow night either...depending on how things go he may just stay in a hotel in Chehalis since he has to work the next day. Anyway, yesterday Taylor and I watched the Seahawks game, then just hung out at home the rest of the night. Today we spent the afternoon at my parent's house and we're gonna have dinner there tonight (I just came home real quick to let the dogs out). It's kinda lonely knowing Matt's not coming home...I always look forward to late afternoon when I know he's going to be getting off work. But, Daddy's gotta bring home the bacon! So...tomorrow we'll probably do a little shopping and run some errands. Hopefully Matt will be home tomorrow night...even if it's super late. It's pretty quiet around here without him... Matt, if you're reading this, we miss you, WE LOVE YOU!, and we can't wait for you to get home! XOXOX

Cara...So I told you a long while back that I was sending you a gift. Well, it's finally done and Sam sent it in the mail today. It should reach you sometime next week or sooner.
Sorry it took so long, but I didn't want to send it unfinished!
