...was today and she had to get 3 shots. She actually did really well and I did better than I thought I would. Cheri's nurse is awesome and it was over before we knew it...she was fast! She weighed in at 9lbs 15oz and was 22 1/4 inches long! She's now in the 25th percentile for weight, which is up from 10th at her last appt, so that's an accomplishment! Since we got home from the doctor we've had kind of a rough evening...not from the shots, but because my poor little baby hasn't pooped for 5 days...yes, FIVE days. (I'm thinking that's got to be good for atleast a 1/4 of a pound or so. Ü) Seriously, 5 days? My sister assures me that this is not uncommon for breast-fed babies, but tonight Taylor was VERY uncomfortable. The poor little thing was just beside herself and you could tell that she was in pain. It was heartbreaking. We were in the tub, and that's usually her favorite time of night, and she still couldn't calm down. She's never cried like this before. I called my mom to borrow her thermometer (the rectal kind, to try to stimulate a BM) and Matt went and got it. A few minutes later my mom was at the door...after she heard Taylor crying so hard on the phone she couldn't stand it, and had to come see her :( The thermometer trick didn't work, so Matt headed to Safeway to get some glycerin suppositories. By the time he got home she had eaten and calmed down, and could barely keep her eyes open. I'm telling you, it was horrible to see her so upset like that, knowing her little tummy was in knots, and there was nothing I could do. I'm sure you can understand why she wasn't the only one crying :( So now we cross our fingers that she has the big soak-thru-my-clothes, all-the-way-up-my-back-and-in-my-hair blow-out before we get on the airplane on Friday. Can you imagine??? I don't even want to think about how I would go about cleaning her up in a bathroom that you can barely turn around in. Oh well...if it happens I'll atleast be happy that she finally went.

Tomorrow I'm finishing up packing our suitcases. Taylor and I are pretty much packed. Just one final load of laundry to do and we'll be ready to go. I'm actually starting to look forward to getting out of here for awhile! It'll be nice to go somewhere where it isn't raining...and I don't even remember the last time I woke up to a white Christmas! That should be fun Ü
Well, wish up luck in the poopin' department!
G'night!
