We're home!

Happy New Year everyone!

As always, it's good to be home! We had a really nice trip to Wisconsin for the holidays, but we're glad to be back home and getting back to real life. Taylor was an absolute angel the entire time...on the plane both ways, traveling for several hours at a time in the car, and meeting so many new friends and family members. Everyone adored her (how could they not?! Ü) and she was spoiled with love the whole time we were there. She met her Grandpa Ken (Bumpa), Grandpa Dave and Grandma Nettie (Annette), and her Great Grandma and Grandpa Mattison for the first time! She also got to meet her Uncle Mitch, Aunt Jenny, and cousin Allison, and her great aunts, uncles and cousins too. She got to see her Grandma Julie again too (who came to visit her when she was a few weeks old) but of course she's changed a ton since she saw her!
It was sad to leave, not knowing when she'll get to see her family again...and hard to watch Grandma's and Grandpa's hearts break while saying goodbye to her :( We're planning to go back this summer though, and that'll be here before we know it!

When we got home last night we really whooped it up while ringing in the New Year in our sleep! We were exhausted. My family was down at my Grandma's house, so we went straight there from the airport (we're her neighbor) and spent about an hour catching up with my parents and Cheri and Jay and the kids, then it was up the driveway and into bed! I can't remember the last time I was in bed before midnight on New Year's Eve! Maybe next year we'll be more fun... Anyway Happy New Year to all of you! May your 2008 be better than the last Ü

We're so glad you made it home safely! It was so good to see you and can't wait until we see you again! We'll try to make it out there this summer, but at the very least, we hope to see you when you come back here. Thanks for including us in the pictures :) I'll be posting soon...Should I mention the grandma tongue and chewed up bubble gum? :)

Erin - We actually brought 2 bags home with us, along with some string cheese and my favorite...whips! Seems we never come home from Wisconsin without cheese Ü
