A 9 month update...a tad bit late.

*At her 9 month check-up, Taylor weighed 16.4 lbs and was 26 1/2 inches long!

*She's a very talented little crawler, and she is fast!

*She loves to "walk"...with a little help from someone's (anyone's) fingers.

*She pulls herself up on everything...her toys, furniture, in the bathtub (yikes), her crib, your legs, etc...but still hasn't gone mobile from a standing position. No "cruising" yet!

*She loves to clap and play Patty-cake! She gets excited when you make a big deal about something that she's done and is happy to clap with you at her achievement. And all you have to do is start singing and she starts clapping!

*She waves bye-bye and says "Buh" while she's waving!

*When she sees Lambeau she says "Dah." (I think that means dog!)

*She's graduated to a size 3 diaper! They're actually still pretty big on her, and the size 2 still fits...but she was soaking thru her jammies almost every night, so Grandma said she needed bigger diapers. Wouldn't ya know it, she's been dry ever since! That Grandma really knows what she's talkin' about :)

*At her 9 month check-up we found out that she's a little anemic (which apparently is pretty common in babies her age, since they tend to drink less milk/formula and are eating more solid foods, but not necessarily meats and things with lots of iron). So she's now taking a multi-vitamin with iron supplement every day. The poor thing gags when you give it to her, and I don't blame her cuz it smells disgusting! So I've started mixing it with her cereal and fruit in the morning and she doesn't even know it's in there! Much better than the gagging :)

*She's really starting to get interested in books. Up until now I could get thru about a half a book if I read really fast. Now, she enjoys sitting and looking at the pictures, helping me turn the pages, and listening to the story. Yeah!

Taylor is a very happy little girl! She's having so much fun right now and so are we...this is such a fun age! It's impossible not to love her more everyday :)

16 pounds! What a little cutie! Sounds like she will be walking soon. We can't wait to see her again. (and you guys too!)
