Let's start with...we're home! We actually got back on Sunday afternoon, but after being gone for 11 days we had quite a bit to do before we both went back to work today.
Here's a quick recap of our trip, and then I'll post some pics and let you see how much fun we had, so I don't have to tell you everything!

*Flew to Chicago on Thurs 8/28...Taylor was wonderful on the airplane! Stayed in a hotel
that night.
*Matt met customers while Taylor and I had breakfast and swam in the pool...FUN!
*Headed up to Wisconsin and spent Labor Day weekend at Matt's family property on the
Pike River in Amberg, Wisconsin. A super fun weekend!
*Taylor and I spent some quality time with Matt's dad and step-mom Annette while he
pretty much drove around the entire state meeting customers and doing business...all
while we were having fun with his family!
*Spent the last 3 days with Matt's mom and step-dad, and his brother Mitch and his family.
*On the Friday before we left, Taylor came down with a really high fever (104.0), which scared me to death. It was a long night...I couldn't sleep and kept getting up to check on her. She was fine, but wasn't quite herself for the rest of the visit. My poor baby :( ...today is actually the first day that her fever has been completely gone.
*Left Appleton, Wisconsin Sunday 9/7 at 9am, connected in Minneapolis, and made it home
yesterday around 3pm (keep in mind the 2 hour time change). It was a long day for
all of us, but Taylor was SO good again! She's such a trooper...even being sick, she was a great little traveler :)
I took 200+ pictures on this trip so it was really hard to sort thru them and decide which ones to post! I apologize in advance...there are A LOT of pictures!
We're off!
Being silly with Grandpa at breakfast!
Uncle Mitch cookin' ribsAfter all the fun, the first thing we said when we walked in the door?
Man, it's good to be home!
**On a more serious note...we forgot to bring home cheese. Who goes to Wisconsin and doesn't bring home cheese??? Apparently we do. So, if you're in Wisconsin and you're reading this...send cheese! Whips and curds would be lovely :) [and extra whips for my preggie friend ;)]

Great post and pictures! It looks like you had a great week here in da Midwest :) It was great to see you! If we make any trips to Wisconsin in the near future, we'll be sure to buy you cheese...Although I don't think we'll be doing anymore traveling until the end of October when we go to Neenah for Maggie's wedding and to bring home our puppy!
Looks like you guys had an awesome trip!
Wait, am I the preggie friend that gets the whips??? If so, I love you even more than I already do! Great pictures...perfect end-of-summer trip!
Welcome back! xoxo
