Yep, again.

I just got back from taking Taylor to St. Peter's Hospital to have a nasal swab to test for RSV. We know she has another ear infection, but has a nasty cough, a non-stop snotty nose, and an attitude to boot! All in all she's been taking it in stride, but last night she coughed A LOT...I went in her room a few times just to hold her and rock her because I couldn't stand listening to her in there so miserable...she was so sweet and just laid her head on me and fell back to sleep. My arms were aching (she weighs 22lbs now!) but I just couldn't put her down :( So this morning when she was completely beside herself, smacking her food out of my hand and spitting applesauce ALL OVER ME, I tried to think of that sweet, coughing baby that made my heart ache last night. Deep breath...walk away... Anyway, there isn't anything that we can do differently, even if she does have RSV, but for my own peace of mind, I just want to know. I'm taking her back to see Cheri in a few hours to have her ears checked again...we got a prescription filled for Amoxicilin on Wednesday but haven't given it to her yet in hopes that her ear will clear up on it's own...I just don't want to give it to her unless we have to. Hopefully her ear's looking better today. We did manage to go outside yesterday afternoon after it had warmed up a bit, and Taylor had fun on her new swing! I just can't wait 'til Spring so we can spend more time playing outside. This sun is such a teaser...it's still so dang cold!

(this one was actually taken Tuesday night)

Trying to have fun..but not feelin' so hot :( What is it with this girl wanting to play in the dog's house/kennel?! One good thing about being sick? Your mom lets you eat in front of the TV :)
Hope you all have a fun weekend! I'm super excited about my good friend Abby's wedding tomorrow night! I'm hoping Taylor is feeling a lot better so she can come too...otherwise, I may have to find myself a new date so Matt can stay home with her! Any takers?! ;)

Just wanted to say thank you for your kind post on our blog! I am doing much better, and believe that all of the prayers and support we received helped! :) I love when us women can share our experiences that are often kept so quiet. I think the healing process is much faster this way! Thank you for being willing to share!

Hope Taylor is feeling well really soon, and that her ear infection doesn't need any antibiotics! Have fun at your wedding :)
