Our weekend started out on Friday. We decided to head up to Mt. Rainier, and apparently everyone else had the same idea...it took us about 30 mins to get thru the park entrance! We decided to skip Paradise (it was CRAZY busy) and head down to Reflection Lakes instead. It was beautiful. There was still a lot of snow on the ground, and infact was covering most of the trails. We found a short little hike that had a little snow on it, but not too much that we couldn't go thru/around. So, we headed out and walked a bit! Taylor actually wasn't feeling so great when we got up there...she hadn't slept well the night before, her eyes were bright red, and her nose running. At first I thought maybe it was some kind of allergy, but she ended up having a 102.5 fever that night when we got home, so it must've been a little bug. Considering she wasn't feeling well, she was an angel. She loved the backpack (borrowed from Cheri and Jay...now we want one...it was awesome!) and fell asleep almost immediately after we started walking. After our walk, and after we left the park, we kept with tradition and stopped for blackberry pie and ice cream! Mmmm :)

Saturday, we were planning on spending the day at the lake with my dad's boat and BBQ'ing with some friends, but since Taylor wasn't feeling well we decided to hang at home. It turned out to be a fun day anyway! First, we hung our new flag...

...got dressed in our Red, White & Blue and did a little coloring...

...Taylor hung out with Lambeau while I watered flowers...

...and then her and Matt took the truck for a little spin in the driveway. :)

After her nap, Taylor was feeling much better, so we went across the street to play in our neighbors pool!
(Tiffany, does her bikini look familiar?! It's a 6-12mos size and still fits her!!)

We headed back home and invited our neighbors over for BBQ'd kabobs, potatoes, and corn-on-the-cob for dinner...

...and ended our evening watching fireworks and having a few drinks.

We had a great time!

Lambeau did really well with the fireworks this year too...in the past he's been a nervous wreck, but his year seemed to take it all in stride :)

Sunday, I went on my first ride with Matt on his new Harley! It was a beautiful day, so we dropped Taylor off at my parents house for a bit, and headed into Lacey. We didn't go too far cuz the passenger seat is really uncomfortable...we just tooled around a bit, shared a sandwich at Farrelli's and then headed back home. Aside from my legs, butt, "undercarriage", and feet falling asleep, it was great! ;) Seriously though, a friend had told me that "if the seat looks good, you're going to need an epidural before sitting on it for more than 15 minutes." She wasn't kidding. But we did look good! :)
