Wow, what a great weekend we had! Matt's mom and dad were here visiting from Wisconsin and we had a jam-packed, fun-filled time!
They got here early Friday afternoon, and after getting reacquainted with Taylor (they haven't seen each other in almost a year, but she warmed right up to them) we all headed out for dinner at TugBoat Annie's in Olympia. They have great food, and their desserts were delish!* ;)

Taylor was tired from all the excitement. I just love this picture of her.
After she got her jammies on, she modeled her new Harley Davidson jacket that Gramma and Bumpa brought her...with Daddy's cowboy boots! :)
Saturday,
Karena and baby Caitlyn stopped by for a few minutes, we picked up Papa's boat, visited Great Gramma and fed apples to the cows, stopped at the park, and went to Cabela's to see the animals...they even had puppies for sale!!
I love her little eye looking right us!

Sunday we got up and headed over the pass to Crescent Bar.It was absolutely gorgeous!
We're already planning another trip for next summer!

Then, on Monday, we went thru Leavenworth on our way home.We had a great lunch, bought some fudge to bring home and
enjoyed a little shopping, too.
And finally, Tuesday...Gramma and Bumpa made Taylor the happiest little girl in the neighborhood when they spoiled her with this!(click to enlarge)

*In the picture where I'm licking the plate...I've recently started only allowing myself to eat dessert on weekends...it was Mud Pie after a long week of no after dinner sweets, and it was soooo good! :)

You got some great pictures of Taylor and I just smiled the whole time I read your post because you all look so happy!
I absolutely LOVE Crescent Bar. I spent my summers there growing up because my dad lived there part time building all the "houses" out on the peak. We used to clean golf carts for ice cream money. Good times!
she's so precious... ugh i miss you guys already! call me if you are heading to DAVE at the gorge. if not, ill be home the week after for the seattle WSU game.
Looks like you all had a fabulous time! I LOVE those little river towns. We stayed in Sunland last year for the Jack Johnson concert...it's just down river from Crescent Bar. I am really missing my Grube Girls! When am I going to get my fix?!?
I work this weekend...and then off MON/Tues, so maybe tuesday?
