(click to enlarge!)As you can see, we had a great time at the Dave Matthews concert at The Gorge!
We picked up Dean and PY in Tacoma, then headed up to Sea-Tac to pick up Matt's friend Al (who flew in from Wisconsin just for the concert/weekend!) and then headed East over the mountains. With little traffic in our way, we got there Friday about 7pm, and by 730pm we had everything set up, including the beer pong table!
Here's a rundown of all the fun...
We played some very competitive matches of beer pong and flippy cup.
We ate hot dogs til we threw up...well, not all of us, but a few that will remain nameless!
We made friends with all our neighbors.
We had a few very heated discussions over football...we had Packer fans, Seahawks fans, Giants fans, Steelers fans, and Patriots fans all in the same vicinity- and drinking together!
Took a dip in the Columbia River...refreshing after a night of drinking and no shower.
Had the sweetest, tastiest, most delicious corn-on-the-cob! (And brought some home, too!!)
Hung out in the back of the truck for an hour and 1/2 while it poured down rain...and wouldn't you know, it cleared up just in time to head to the concert!!
Listened to Dave Matthews put on an amazing show!
Got a cute DMB t-shirt.
Froze our bootys off in a damp, cold tent.
Had my first taste of the Pink Panty Dropper concoction.
Found pink panties on the ground the next morning. Not even kidding.
Peed outside in public more times than I care to remember.
Used a port-o-potty more times than I care to remember.
Went thru a lot of baby wipes.
Wrestled with Al until he pile-drived me...then Matt wanted a piece of him :)
Missed my baby girl.
Wondered why on earth people would bring their kids to a campground like that.
Had really dirty feet from wearing flip-flops in the dirt/mud all weekend.
Had an absolutely fabulous time with a really great group of guys! It's not always fun being the only girl, but this weekend I didn't mind at all! That said, I may be staying home next time...maybe. :)

I'm envious. Clint and I need a weekend like that! It's good to be young and kid free once in a while.
Oh, the joys of camping! Gosh I miss it! Sounds like you had a great time and I love the pics.
oh yes....I remember those days at that campground. You are a brave soul! I think I'm too old for that campground any more! :) One time I had a hangover for 3 days...no joke. My "date" at the time would've gotten my stomach pumped, had we been closer to civilization. And, totally agree...why would people bring babies/kids to it?
