A trip to the park and the cider mill

About a week ago, a terrible tragedy occured at
It's a place that people around here have been going to for years and years.
A charming, quaint little farm.
They make cider.
They have the best apple donuts and fritters you can imagine.
They have a nice sized apple orchard and pumpkin patch.
They have tons of fresh fruits and vegetables.
And they even have a petting zoo!
So, given the incident that happened a week ago, I decided there was no better time to head out and support this special little farm than now.
Taylor had a blast!
She loved the animals, and I loved the donuts. :)
If you wouldn't mind, say a little prayer for these people. They're so nice, and so undeserving of what they've had to go through. Better yet, if you're out this way...stop by and give them your support! Thanks :)

Lattin's is one of my favorite places! I'll send my parents out to to show their support. I hope they're okay.

Glad you guys went and visited! An hour after tragedy struck, we were supposed to be there with our preschool. I'll have to take Grayson there soon anyway. How are they doing there....emotionally and business-wise?

It's a great little place, isn't it?! They all seem to be putting on a brave face. I know they're hurting...you can see the sadness behind their smiles. As far as business...it was packed! There was a preschool class visiting when we were there, and a ton of other people too. I was SO happy to see a full parking lot when I pulled in! However, their sign reads "We love you, Kay...we will never forget you," their flag was at half-mast,and there's a jar for her Memorial Fund at the counter. It brought tears to my eyes just reading the sign and seeing the flag. What a horrible, horrible thing for anyone to have to witness. I was happy to be there to show them my support. :)

We should try and get together to take the girls here towards the end of the month. I have a friend who goes here often and loves it. 12 more days until I am PT and have all day to spend with the kids. Yeah!!
