How did this happen?
It doesn't seem possible...
It doesn't seem possible...
that we could have gone from this...

...to this...

...to this...
Someone has to help me keep this little girl a little girl.
Every night when I lay her down in her crib, I think to myself
"I hope I remember her just like this forever."
Tonight when I laid her down, I couldn't help but
stroke her hair a few more times...
tell her I love her a few more times...
and stare for just a few more moments.
She's beautiful.
She's smart.
She's amazing.
And when she wakes up in the morning...she'll be two.
And then five.
And then sixteen.
I've been on Memory Lane all day...all weekend actually.
Looking back on old blog posts.
Staring at pictures of when she was first born.
Aching to have her fall asleep in my arms again.
I fall in love with her more and more everyday.
She amazes me constantly.
She makes me laugh.
She fills me with pride.
She makes me unimaginably happy.
With just one look.
One giggle.
One smell of her warm, sweet skin.
She makes me who I am.
She makes me better than who I am.
And she's two.

Happy Birthday, pun'kin pie :)

Happy Birthday Taylor! Such a cute post, it made me teary eyed. You described what I go through every night. JK is going to be 10 next month and is almost as tall as I am. It's just not right!!
*It's so funny that you call Taylor Pumpkin Pie. That's Lillie's nick name too.
I love the sweet pictures that you chose for this post. Taylor's 2nd birthday is such a special day, and I am with you, it has come so fast. Taylor is such a beautiful and caring 2 year old girl.
sweet post and the party looked so much fun! Happy birthday sweet Taylor!
wow I almost started crying just reading that! I know how you feel I am already starting to feel that way and Caitlyn's only 5 months!
