Giving thanks

It's that time of year...

...when we are reminded to give thanks for all of our many blessings.

...when we really dig deep,

to appreciate all that we have,

and all that we've learned from our loss.

We all go through hard times...

financially,

emotionally,

physically,

faithfully...

...no one gets a free pass.

So, as I sit here and think of everything I have to be thankful for,

I can't help but think of everything that I've gone through,

and everything that is yet to come.

This year my heart was broken...again.

But yet, here I am.

Stronger,

more loving,

more appreciative,

more giving,

more positive,

and more faithful.

I am thankful for that.

"Glory be to God in the highest..." (Luke 2:14)

...for without Him, we would have nothing.

I am thankful for you!
