Yesterday morning I attended the funeral mass for our priest, Fr. Terence Wager, who passed away last week after a long battle with cancer. He has been the priest at our parish for 26 years, so I've known him since the beginning.
I found a new respect and appreciation for him today and was glad to be able to celebrate his life and his service to our community, to the priesthood, and to our Lord.

We sang some of my favorite songs (including a song that we sang at our wedding, which gave my brother-in-law Jay a good chuckle) and heard about his life outside of our little church. It was heartwarming to listen to his family speak about him...I don't know why it never occured to me that he's not just a priest...he's also a brother, an uncle, and a friend.
It's comforting to know that he is resting with our Lord and Father, who he spent his whole life serving.

Thank you Father Terence. May you rest in peace. ♥

After an emotional morning, I just didn't feel like sitting around the house while Taylor slept this beautiful, sunny afternoon away. So, we decided to be wild and go to Great Grandma's house instead! Incidentally, she wasn't home...go figure, she's always home...but we went for a nice walk and visited the cows anyway.
These last few days have me aching for summer.

After a long day, complete with no nap for Taylor, Matt got off work a little early and said we were going to Costco to buy the camera I've been wanting!! Yippee!
It's AWESOME.
Like, really awesome.
Totally worth the wait. :)
I've already taken lots of pics...can't wait to share them with you!
Stay tuned! :)

Enjoy this beautiful, sunny day!!
Oh, and P.S. Did I mention we're going to Phoenix in April?!
Can't wait for that sunshine!
You know, the tank tops, swimsuits, and lounging by the pool kind of sunshine?!
Yep, can't wait! :)
