Arizona

Arizona was amazing...just what the doctor ordered!!
There's nothing in the world that makes me happier than opening my shades in the morning to a beautiful sunny day that awaits...especially when all I have to do is have fun!
After a few hour flight delay out of Seattle, we didn't have much time to get settled before we headed out to meet up with a friend of Matt's who he hadn't seen in 9 years! The two of them became good friends through Basic Training and Tech School and haven't seen each other since. Bobby and his wife Farren were both nice as can be and we had a great night out with them. We were pretty tuckered from our day of travel, so we called it a night around midnight and hit the sack. Had to get rested up for the big day...race day!!!
*Ready for our first night out in Phoenix!*
Saturday was the NASCAR race! So. much. fun. again!
The pictures from the race are on a different camera...which I'm a little irritated with myself about. I didn't want to take my nice camera to the track for fear that something might happen to it...but I really wish I had now. I'm sure I could've got some great racing pics!
So...let's fast forward to Sunday...
We met up with Matt's cousin Kerstin and her hubby Kyle at one of our favorite places to eat...
We had a great time catching up with them!
We went over to the FOX Sports Grill afterwards and just about fell asleep...it wasn't quite as happenin' as we thought it was gonna be! That wasn't a bad thing since Matt and Kyle both had to get up for work in the morning, so we called it a night.
Monday, while Matt had breakfast, lunch and meetings with customers, I was here...alllll day...and it was fabulous!!!
That's our room, the first full window from the right. :)
Who doesn't love a palm tree?!
These, however, I could do without. They kinda creep me out.

Tuesday was a loooong day getting home. Let's just say I flew standby for the first and last time in a really long time and it didn't quite work out so well for me! But, I eventually made it home (thanks to my mom and dad for picking me up at the airport...only after watching Taylor the whole time we were gone...). I was beyond excited to see my little sweetheart in the morning, and she was equally as excited to see me! I don't think I've ever gotten so many hugs, kisses, and "I love you's" from my girl in one day! She missed her mama, for sure!! :)
Well, that about wraps it up...sad to be back home in the rain, but it looks like it should be a beautiful weekend! Not enough for me to keep my tan, I'm sure...but atleast the sun will be out. :)

Looks like sooo much fun! I don't know why, but I have never been to Phoenix. I may just have to make a point at visting there... after Hawaii of course!
