My goals for the week

For the last week I've been coughing, sniffling and blowing with the best of 'em. I've never in my life had a cold in the Summertime, and I don't like it. Because I felt the worst for the first few hours after getting up, I wasn't able to do my morning workout...and now I'm paying for it. I feel sluggish and I haven't been eating as well as I should. I need a good kick in the butt to get me back on track. So, here are a few goals that I've set for myself this week...

*Drink nothing but water. No coffee, milk, juice, coffee, pop, beer, coffee, etc. Did I mention I'm not gonna drink coffee this week??
*Workout every morning. I'm filling in at my old office this week, so I'm gonna have to get up super early, but that's okay...I gotta do it.
*No sugar. Yikes. I'm gonna do my best with this one, but let's be real...no sugar ain't gonna happen.
*Eat more whole foods. Lots of salad, fruit and berries for me this week. I'm actually looking forward to it!

So that's my list. It's not huge, but that's a good thing...I think it's doable. We'll see. If I do really well all week I may just treat myself to a coffee on Friday morning. That'll be good incentive to behave myself. :)

That's a great list! You can do it! I agree with it being hard to give up sugar completely, but if you are aware of what you're eating, I bet it will be easier to say no!

Sounds like a great way to be healthy! I am with you on this one - trying to get back to my normal weight is totally kicking my butt. Good luck!
