Wheelin' and dealin'

In my last post, I told you I was planning on buying a jogging stroller...for walking. Well, I've been checking Craigslist daily, and just haven't seen anything that I'm interested in that's in my budget. I decided to make a quick stop at Babies 'R Us today just to see what they had. So I'm standing in the stroller aisle(s) and after deciding that the brand new ones at the price that I wanted to pay were way too chincey and overpriced, I started looking at a few pricier ones...just to see. Well, as I'm testing one of the pricier ones out (with Taylor being a willing participant, climbing in and out of all the strollers) a girl that has been looking at double strollers tells me that she has the exact stroller that I'm looking at and is selling it because she needs a double. It's less than a year old, in perfect condition and she wants to get rid of it right away. Umm, ok?! So, a few hours later, I was meeting her at the main gate at Fort Lewis' parking lot testing out her slightly used, in excellent condition, exactly the colors that I wanted stroller. Cash was exchanged, and we both walked away happy!! I can't believe that I was in that store, on that aisle, at that exact time. It couldn't have been more perfect! Oh, and in case you're wondering, I ended up spending much less than the cheap-o one that I was considering buying new...and this one's much nicer! Yay!!

Now, who wants to walk the Chambers Creek Trail with me next week?! :)

So glad you ended up getting one slightly used, and in your price range!

I found out yesterday Baby's R Us in Tacoma is moving, and having a huge sale trying to get rid of all of their inventory. Just wanted to let you know in case you find yourself in the need to shop for anything else. I can never pass up a good sale!
