Sweet sayings ♥

After dinner one night...
Matt (sticking out his stomach) - "Taylor, look at my big belly, I think I ate too much!"
Taylor (sticking hers out, too) - "Daddy, look at my big belly, too!"
Matt - "No, you don't have a big belly!  Your belly's perfect."
Taylor - "You're perfect too, Daddy."


In the car...
Taylor (looking at a home 'For Sale' flyer) - "Look at that house...it's HUGE!!"
Me - "Yah, it's pretty isn't it?"
Taylor - "Yah, it's really big, too!"
Matt - "Taylor, I'm sorry I can't buy you a big house like that."
Taylor (accompanied by a shoulder shrug) - "It's ok, dad.  I don't need a big house.  I just happy."


Today, while making goodie bags...
Taylor - "Mom, these mine??"
Me - "No, these are for your friends that are coming to your birthday party tomorrow!"
Taylor (in a very concerned tone) - "Oh NO!  What about my family??!"
Me - "Yes, honey!  These are for ALL the kids, your friends AND your cousins, too."
Taylor - "Aw, thanks mom!  I love my family."
Me too, sweet girl. ♥


Today, while trying to take a nap...
Taylor (coming out of her room for the 3rd time, this time with her hands on her hips) - "Mo-om...those stupid doggies keep waking me up."
Me (realizing I have to quit calling the neighbors' dogs stupid...) - "I'm sorry, Tay.  You're just gonna have to try to ignore them.  I'll ask Kristin if she can put them inside so you can sleep."
Taylor - "UUUgggghhhh...(stomping back to her room)...stupid dogs."
{Ok, this one I realize is not so sweet, but it was just so funny!  And, I've really gotta quit saying that word...}
