Since I'm so terribly behind on posting pictures these days, I'm going to keep the commentary to a minimum. I hope you enjoy the few hundred pics on this post! And, sorry, I may have gotten a little carried away with the collages...but it's better than scrolling through all of them separately, right?!
First up, the 4th of July!
This was the first day Taylor and I got to Wisconsin and we didn't waste any time jumping right into the fun! We spent the afternoon with Matt's brother Mitch and his family and then watched fireworks lake-side with good friends and family...perfect!♥
The next day Matt had planned a little day away for the two of us to spend alone. :) We hit up Summerfest in Milwaukee {the biggest music festival in the world!} and that was really cool!! After several hours in the scorching hot sun, we decided to skip the headliner {Def Leppard} and head over to Miller Park to catch the Brewer's game!
The next few days were super hot, so we kept it low-key. We took the dog for short walks...
...and met up with Matt's good friend Ryan and his fiancee Heather for dinner! {They just got engaged in Mexico last month and are planning a destination wedding for next Spring! I'm so excited!!! :)}
We played at the park...
and got a surprise visit from uncle Mitch while he was on duty!
We also hit the Neenah pool to cool off and had a fabulous time swimming and water-sliding!
We headed up North for the weekend, where we celebrated Matt's dad's 60th birthday! Saturday we hung out at their cabin with them and Matt's uncles, Mike and Max...the Grube boys keep it entertaining, I'll tell you that!
Sunday we spent at the river with the Mattison side of the family! It was soo much fun...we floated the river, made sand castles and visited with family we haven't seen in a long time. Matt and Taylor even found a little time to do some fishing.♥
Sunday night we went out for dinner at one of our favorite spots...Schaffer's Supper Club. They have an amazing fish fry with perch and all the fixins, and we always leave with bellies way too full!
Speaking of full bellies...I think we ate enough ice cream to last us the rest of the summer. It's kinda hard to say no when Grandma Nettie's ice cream shop is connected to the house. Monday morning before we left, Taylor had 3 different flavors! Oh well...that's what grandparents are for, right?! :)
And of course, our trip to Wisconsin would not have been complete without a stop at Lambeau Field to see the 2011 Super Bowl XLV Championship trophy! Pretty cool.
And one last picture...the night before we left...here's Taylor snuggled up with Bumpa and Grandma Juicy.♥
All in all, a fantastic trip.
We had tons of sun, tons of fun, and can't wait to visit again soon!
Thanks friends and family for making our trip so special!
We love you all, and miss you already!♥

Looks like so much fun!
Great post! Love the pics of Taylor walking the dog and her pink head band. I can see why you had a hard time going through so many good ones!
So glad Matt's dad is doing ok. How scary! Great pix! I caught up with them on fb, too. Looking forward to seeing you on Thursday! Xo
