One of those days...

So today's been one of those days.

My alarm went off, and I hit the "off" button instead of the "snooze."  So I'm up 20 minutes later than I'd planned.  No biggie, I just won't curl my hair.

But then I spent too much time in the shower {had to shave my legs...they were bad to the point where I was disgusting myself.} so I was even more behind.

Taylor was still sleeping, so I decided to grab a quick bowl of cereal, and of course check my Facebook while I'm eating.

Before I know it, it's 20 minutes before we have to leave, my hair's still wet and Taylor's still asleep!

Rush, rush, rush...out the door and at preschool on time and with backpack and show 'n tell item.  Phew!

Run a few errands, write some thank you notes, call my doctor's office.  For some strange reason I think to myself "when are my tabs supposed to be renewed?"  Umm, that would be last month.  Yah.

Get tabs for Tahoe. {and there was no line?!}

20 minutes to kill before preschool pick-up...so I go to the grocery store for a few things.

I then spend so much time debating what kind of candy bars to get for our trick-or-treaters that before I know it, it's 5 minutes to noon and my "few quick things" have yet to be paid for.  Ugh.

Rush, rush, rush...self-check out...no line!

"Unexpected item in bagging area.  Please remove item to continue."

remove item...

"Item removed from bagging area.  Please place item in bagging area or press 'skip bagging."

replace item...

"Unexpected item in bagging area. Please remove item to continue."

repeat these steps one more time...

Aaaaahhhh!!!

Finally make it out of the store at 12:01p, race across the street and pull up to preschool practically on two wheels.  Jump out, run into classroom to find my sweet girl sitting all alone in the circle waiting for me.  Ugh.  Mother of the Year, right here...

Come home.

Starving.

PB&J, grapes and applesauce for Tay {per request} and a nice, big salad for me.

"Mommy, can I have a bite of your salad?"

"Sure."

"Mmm..that's good.  Can I have another bite?"

"Yes, but you need to eat your sandwich, too."

"I don't wanna eat my sandwich, I want your salad."

"Of course you do."

After lunch, I turn on one of my Scentsy warmers and the light bulb blows.

I try to make myself a cup of coffee in my Keurig and it makes a crazy noise and a tiny bit of coffee came out.

I'm out of stamps for my thank you cards.

And now I'm headed out the door to take little miss to her 4-year checkup...where I'm sure she'll be getting a shot or two.

Just another day in the life! :)
