These last few days of sun and blue sky have been amazing, haven't they?

I mean, really...I'm SO ready for Spring and Summer this year, it's not even funny.

It may have something to do with the fact that I so badly want to meet this baby boy who's taken over my body {who will be here late Spring!} but these days just seem to be going by soooo sloooow.
Maybe I'll just blame it on the rain.
Cuz the rain don't mind.

We ordered this bed for Taylor...she's sooo excited!

{It looks just like this one, minus the dresser, small cabinet and chair, and plus a ladder.}

It's got a desktop that runs the length of the bed frame and an undershelf that attaches to the loft.
She's excited to have a bed with a ladder.
I'm excited to have some more floor space in her room.

Last Friday Taylor's preschool class took a field trip to the Olympia Children's Museum.

Believe it or not, it was our first time visiting, and we'll definitely be going back again soon...the kids had a blast!

Miss Abbie turns 11 tomorrow and we celebrated Sunday night with lasagna dinner, presents, fabulously rich and delicious homemade chocolate mocha cake {Abbie's request!} and Wipeout on the Wii!

Finally, we've got an extra special surprise planned for Taylor at the end of the week...we're going to The Great Wolf Lodge with our best buddies and she has no idea!  We aren't planning on telling her where we're going, either...just gonna get in the car and let her be surprised when we get there.
I can't wait!!
{I could do without having to get into a swimsuit right now, but oh well, right?!}
