Winter's still here, and we're still having fun!

It's been such a fun week that I just couldn't help but share some of what's made it so great.

It actually started this past Saturday when we celebrated my good friend Brittnee and her baby girl-on-board, Jorja!  Good food, my favorite candy {Cadbury mini eggs!}, cupcakes, babies and pregnant mommies galore, and lots and lots of super cute girly-baby things!  Oh, what fun!

From there, we headed to my sister's house where we met up with 4 other couples and attended Hops 'n Props at The Museum of Flight.  It was so much fun!  It would've been much more fun if I could have tasted the over 200 beers that were there, but I still managed to have myself a good time by filling up on catering from McCormick & Schmidt, listening to live music, and enjoying the company of good people.

All in all, a great day. :)

Monday and Tuesday were pretty ordinary days...preschool, cleaning, laundry, the usual.

Then came Wednesday...which was much-anticipated by miss Taylor.

It's pet week at ABC Academy this week, and she got to bring Lambeau to school with her!

She was so excited! {and I was thankful for Matt having an at-home job so he could help with the hairy beast!}

Lambeau behaved himself perfectly and was beyond thrilled to see and visit with all the kids.

Her teacher asked her some questions about Lambeau...his name, his gender, what he eats, how he gets exercise, where he sleeps, how she shows him love, etc...and she answered them all confidently and correctly.  All the kids got a turn at petting him, and Lambeau took it upon himself to lick each and everyone of them, which of course they thought was hysterical! :)

I also made these Wednesday morning...

which is what I was most excited about for the day. :)

We also took a little trip to Best Buy where we returned the iPad we bought last week {didn't end up being the right purchase for what we wanted to use it for} and in exchange came home with a Nintendo DS and Dora game for Taylor, a portable DVD player with 2 screens, 2 sets of headphones, 4 new movies, and new home phones...all for less than the cost of the iPad!

After Best Buy we headed across the parking lot to Costco and filled our cart with lots of yummy stuff!  We were pooped after such a full day, but each part of it was well worth it.  We ended our day on the couch, with a big bowl of strawberries and American Idol.  Perfect.♥

Today, we made a snowman!!!

A rather darling one if I do say so myself. ;)

And tonight...BBQ'd hamburgers and tator tots for dinners.  Yumm!
