Our weekend.

What a nice, relaxing weekend we had! Saturday I woke up not feeling so hot...I've been trying to fight off a cold for the last week and Saturday morning it finally got the better of me. So, instead of spending the afternoon at Tiffany's baby shower, I spent it taking a nice warm bath and a nap. I was really bummed that I had to miss her shower, but I think the rest did me good. I've been feeling much better the last few days and hope to have the congestion kicked by the time I head to the hospital. That evening we went to Cheri and Jay's for dinner and the football game, which ended very poorly for us Nebraska fans. We seriously got our butts kicked...so much so, that I lost interest by the middle of the 3rd quarter and pretty much didn't even watch the rest of it. Then Sunday morning, we got up to watch the Seahawks lose. Another gut-wrencher. After that, a trip to Costco and Home Depot, and of course back in time to watch the Packer game on Sunday Night Football. All in all, it was a pretty sad sports weekend for us. The Yelm Tornados lost by 2 after missing a last minute field-goal attempt Friday night. Wisconsin (#5 in the nation) lost to unranked Illinois Saturday morning. Nebraska got spanked by Mizzou Saturday night. The Seahawks got shut out by the Steelers Sunday morning (first shut out since 2000 and it had to be to the Steelers the first time we've played them since losing to them in the Super Bowl 2 years ago...UGH.) And then the Packers, who were our last chance at redemption, lost to the Bears in a heart breaker Sunday night. Oh, the agony of defeat...

In other news...our house is supposed to be done around Thanksgiving. Very exciting! They've got the insulation done and are starting to sheet rock today! Hopefully we'll have some new pictures to post very soon...I keep forgetting to buy batteries for the camera. Probably better do that before we head to the hospital Ü

Tomorrow I have another OB appointment. Our last one!! Our due date is Saturday, so if there still isn't anything happening tomorrow, we'll decide whether we want to schedule an induction for the following week. We are obviously hoping that I won't have to be induced, but it'll be so exciting to have that to look forward to just in case we don't get there on our own! We'll let you know what happens!

Hey Cara I missed you in the second half of the Mizzou game, since you didn't see it let me remind you of what happened. MU kicked NU's A@# all over the place. Don't worry about the Hawks though they got the Rams in two weeks to whip up on.
