This year I am participating in the Arthritis Foundation's Arthritis Walk. The Walk is on Saturday, May 10th and I encourage everyone to participate! If you have a minute, check out my personal/team page at

Here's why I'm walking...
*There are 46 million people living with doctor diagnosed arthritis, 300,000 of them children. Those are just the people that have been diagnosed.
*1 in 5 Americans will get arthritis. Think about that...if you're a family of 5, chances are one of you will get arthritis in your lifetime.
*As baby-boomers age they expect these numbers to increase significantly. Apparently our country is in another baby boom (I know our friends are!) so we can only expect that these numbers will continue to rise as the younger generations age.
*The Arthritis Foundation raises millions of dollars every year to help prevent, control, and cure arthritis and they do it with help from people like us!
Everyone walking in the Arthritis Walk is walking in support of someone with arthritis. I personally am walking for my mom. She has been living with rheumatoid arthritis for more than 20 years now. In the worst years her arthritis was debilitating, and heartbreaking to witness. In the best years, it's been managable, but never completely painless. This is why the Arthritis Walk is so important to me. I hope that with all of our help, someday no one will have to feel the pain of arthritis. Please help!
Thanks in advance for your support!
