Yesterday after work I went to pick Taylor up from my mom's and when I walked up to the front door I could already hear her crying. I went inside and she was in the high chair and she was VERY upset :( My mom said she had been crying for about 1/2 hour and nothing would console her (she was now trying food, but it wasn't working either)...and this was after she had just woken up from her nap. So instead of getting better after a week and a half, she was getting worse. I decided we needed to go get her ear's checked (my sister had listened to her chest the day before and said she sounded fine, but she didn't have her little ear-checker-thingy). So, after waiting at the Drs. office for 45 mins (we didn't have an appt) we got in to see Cheri, and sure enough, she has an ear infection. I was actually relieved. I was really hoping she wasn't going to say there was nothing wrong with her...I needed to know that her cranky, crabby, whiney little self was being that way for a reason...and I needed there to be a light at the end of the tunnel. So, as much as I didn't want her to have to be on antibiotics, she is. And she's already feeling SO much better this morning! Hopefully this is the beginning of the end of her latest ailment. However, since Matt's going to be gone again next week, I'm sure there will something else soon!
We also wanted to give a little shout-out to Jakey Remfert, who woke up with pink eye this morning :( We hope you feel better really soon Jakey...sorry you have yucky pink eye. We love you! Hugs and kisses from the Grubes :)

OH my! When Grayson got an ear infection he turned into a completely different kid...and I thought "oh my goodness, I hope this isn't his new personality!" He was SOOOO whiney, cranky and needy. But, its good that you can now treat her and she will start feeling better!

So sorry Taylor is sick, but glad to know she is getting better! I really wish we could've come tomorrow - isn't it just our luck!

Crystal I feel your pain...Taylor had pink eye when she was about 8 months old (I think!) and it was horrible :( I hope Jakey's feeling better :)
Glad she's feeling better! Hopefully the next bug won't hit for a long time. Ear infections turn these little ones into totally different people, it amazes me.

I hope she is feeling better....it usually doesn't take too many doses till they get some relief. Darn illnesses...poor kids!
