Sunday

Thankful, Day 7
Today our day went something like this...

*Matt got up early and went elk hunting and Taylor and I got up an hour early due to the time change
*I made two loaves of banana bread
*we all {including the dog} went for a walk in the sunshine
*we pulled my lifeless flowers out of my whiskey barrels and cleaned up the back patio and garage
*a pot of chili simmered on the stove for most of the day
*we sipped coffee and lounged in our jerseys watching football all afternoon
*Taylor took a 2+ hour nap...and so did Matt. :)
*we had chili and cornbread on TV trays in the living room while watching the Packers on Sunday Night Football
*and to celebrate a great win, we had Caramel Delight ice cream with chocolate syrup

I'm so thankful for days like these...where we don't have anything on our agenda except spending time together, and doing whatever makes us comfortable.  We got a little bit done, but mostly just relaxed and spent a nice day at home...together.  These are the days I want to remember forever!
